Alright.
This is a delightful cookbook if you like the older type recipes as I do. It has some recipes in it which I had not seen in other books. I gave one as a gift, and it was well received. It's fun to leaf through.

This book gives you the recipes with a no nonsense way of doing the book. Plus it tells you who added them to this book. Pleasantly pleased with it but it lacks a table of contents to aid in faster use of this book.
read the review about blank pages toke a chance and I got the book.Took a quick look and it reads like the way I was taought to cook at home by my dad who was the cook and he had learned from his mom. If you want to know how to real get the hang of cooking try looking at this book at least it will give you ideas
This cook book from Lead City, Colorado was published in 1889 and is full of interesting recipes, both familiar and unheard-of. Some of them don't give directions at all! This was fun reading.
